Hello, and Happy New Year! I am so excited to share my new print line with you! I've been thinking about creating Initial Prints like these for ages, and finally had some time to work on them (having the flu for a month gives you some downtime whether you ask for it or not!) -- I am thrilled with how they turned out: simple, vintage, and also a little bit modern.
The print above is my favorite: it is adapted from the cover of a very tiny book of my Grandmother's, and I love the sweet peas and spiderwebs together, aren't they great?
I love these trees, too, above. So great for a boy's room or a family room.
You can never go wrong with flowers...
Or birds and flowers...
… and then we have this piece of wonderfulness, below, which comes from a book of my Grandfather's with the most amazing end papers.
The book it's adapted from is about a boy soldier, and the pattern images are cartoony, wonderful, "soldier-y" things like captains, hats, drums, tents, and then strange food items, animals, clocks and puddings. If my son's room wasn't chock-a-block with art as it is, I'd make him one immediately.
Hoping 2015 finds you feeling happy and healthy!
